From PEI’s Georgetown to Yellowknife’s Dawson City, will be a comprehensive online educational tool that will allow children without any other means to communicate to develop their ASL literacy.

Your support is truly needed. Unfortunately, only 1% of Deaf school children have access to sign language. Here at CCSD, we are now working hard to change this reality by developing exciting and innovative initiatives like—a new American Sign Language (ASL) instruction website for children currently in the making.

The Canadian Cultural Society

The CCSD, the first international centre celebrating Deaf culture, is a non-profit registered charitable organization that relies on donations to ensure that the Centre flourishes so that CCSD can continue to provide cultural opportunities for Deaf Canadians of all ages, while educating the general public about outstanding Deaf achievements.
