From PEI’s Georgetown to Yellowknife’s Dawson City, ASLphabet.com will be a comprehensive online educational tool that will allow children without any other means to communicate to develop their ASL literacy.

The Gift of Language

ASLphabet.com gives a child the power to learn by discovering thousands of words that in turn give them the tools needed to express themselves and explore the world around them.

Campaign Goal

250000

Our goal accounts for both all development and outreach costs that will ensure that all deaf children—especially those that live in our remote areas—will have knowledge and access to ASLphabet.com.

Change!

You have the power to eliminate isolation among our nation’s most vulnerable children and offer them hope and empowerment instead.

Celebrate!

Celebrate a Canada where all children have access to language, learning and brighter tomorrow.

Embrace!

Embrace a wonderful world of endless possibilities and discoveries as together we unleash the potential of a child.

Support the ASL Advocate Program

Your support is truly needed. Unfortunately, only 1% of Deaf school children have access to sign language. Here at CCSD, we are now working hard to change this reality by developing exciting and innovative initiatives like ASLphabet.com—a new American Sign Language (ASL) instruction website for children currently in the making.
